Customer Controls
Without both steps the Ardley platform will not be able to send private labeled email on the customer's behalf.
- Authorization: The customer maintains DNS entries authorizing Ardley to send email on behalf of a specific domain.
- These DNS entries can be revoked at anytime to prevent Ardley from being able to use the customer's domain to send email.
- Once the DNS entries are removed, Ardley will not be able to use the specified domain until they are replaced
- Authentication: The customer must authorize a specific email address by proactively clicking on an authentication link Ardley will send to the address.
- Without this authentication step Ardley will not be able to send email from the specified address.
Ardley Controls
- Authorization: Ardley will check ever 15 minutes for the presence of the required DNS entries in the customer domain, and if they are not present it will disable the private label email capability for that domain until they are replaced.
- Negative feedback monitoring: Ardley constantly monitors the reputation metrics for each authorized email domain.
- If negative feedback from any Ardley authorized domain (bounce backs, Spam reports) exceeded our warning threshold of 0.1% in any given 24 hour period we begin manually monitoring the domain's email traffic.
- If the negative feedback ever exceeds 0.25% in any given 24 hour period we stop all traffic and study the possible root cause.
- We do not send further email until a root cause has been established and mitigated.
